Collidoscope software is provided as is, with no warranties explicit or implied. Collidoscope is freely redistributable in unmodified form. Unlicensed use of Collidoscope is free for an unlimited trial period. The full functionality of Collidoscope is available for the first thirty days of use during the trial period. Please evaluate Collidoscope before purchasing a personal use license.
Collidoscope requires a Pentium class processor with 32-bit Windows and at least 32 MB of available memory. Use of DirectX is strongly recommended. Fast processors with fast memory and large monitors and good video cards are also recommended since Collidoscope is both compute and display intensive. Collidoscope has been tested with Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0.
Purchase of a personal use license for Collidoscope forever unlocks its full potential. After thirty days of use without a license Collidoscope will begin to repeat Collidoscopic sequences after about ten minutes of use. After thirty days of use an unlicensed Collidoscope will only allow a single image or wallpaper capture. Both of these limitations may be gotten around by exiting and restarting Collidoscope. After thirty days of unlicensed use and when operated as a screen saver only three new and distinct Collidoscopic sequences are displayed each week. This limitation can be gotten around by changing Collidoscope's settings.
